Boorish Trumpson, Rehearsal Conductor, will be looking after tonight’s orchestra rehearsal as Rehearsal Conductor, just a one off Rehearsal Conductor. Simon Rattle, Chief Principal Conductor, sends his apologies for his last minute undisclosed absence. He also sends his thanks to Boorish Trumpson, a mere Rehearsal Conductor, for stepping in at such short notice as conductor of the rehearsal (that is to say, Rehearsal Conductor.)
